With unlimited access to supplemental feed and fresh water, our meat birds and turkeys are free to roam our lush pastures with summer breezes and sunshine on their skin...
Hunting grasshoppers, worms and other insects and foraging fresh grasses, alfalfa, clover, flowers, and indigenous herbs.
You will notice the difference in the skin and fat of our chickens...unlike factory farmed grocery store chickens that never see the sun or a blade of grass, our birds have a rich golden tone to their fat and skin, showing the high beta-carotene content of birds that live outside.
Never medicated, vaccinated, treated with antibiotics or insecticides, our birds eat a supplemental diet of non-GMO grains grown by local producers and milled by us right here on the ranch.
By moving our birds through our pastures, they help to regenerate the land. They act like literal cultivators, scratching at the soil and stimulating the roots of the plants and grasses that grow naturally and leaving behind fertilizer that feeds and nourishes the pastures long after they are gone.
